National Park & Jungle-Temple

Our colleague will pick you from your accommodation at 8:00 am and drive you to purchase a ticket of the national park before heading to the most mystical mountain in Cambodia called Phnom Kulen Mountain, Birthplace of the Khmer Empire. It would take about 1hour and 20 munites drive from Siem Reap downtown to the mountain.

On the way from your hotel to Phnom Kulen national park, we can stop at the Palm Sugar village and show you how Cambodian people make their own brown/palm sugar to supply their family. Our local guide will accompany you to see the largest beautiful-waterfall and a huge reclining Buddha sculpture in Cambodia at top of Phnom Kulen National Park. We also guide to visit a river of thousand Shiva linga before we take a break for our lunch.

After you’ve finished your lunch, we continue to explore one of the amazing temples at Angkor names Beng Mealea temple or Jungle-temple. It is surrounding by raining forest due to it was abundant for over 300 years. It is still 100% of it is not restored makes many local and international tourists fall in with it.

• Dress code is casual but shoulders and knees must be covered inside temples
• Comfortable walking shoes are recommended
• For your ventures outside we recommend you leave your airline tickets, passport, and the bulk of your cash/ travellers cheques at your hotel for safekeeping.  Just take enough valuables to cover your temples entrance, and be wary of pickpockets.
